Match Clocks and Times

Learn to read clocks and match them to digital times with fun!

What Time Is It?

Clocks help us know when it's time to play, eat, or sleep!
The big hand points to minutes and the small hand points to hours. When the big hand points to 12, we say "o'clock"!

How to Read a Clock

1️⃣ Look at the small hour hand first

2️⃣ Then look at the big minute hand

3️⃣ Put them together to say the time!

Let's Practice Together!

Parent Tips 🌟

  • Daily Time Checks: Point out clock times during daily routines like "Look! The big hand is on 12 and small hand on 7 - it's 7 o'clock, breakfast time!"
  • Play Time Games: Use a toy clock to play "What's the Time Mr. Wolf?" or set times for favorite activities.
  • Story Time: Read books about telling time like "The Grouchy Ladybug" by Eric Carle to reinforce concepts.
